The Rosemont was built in 1917 when the Craftsman style was dominant and old growth timber wasn't cost prohibitive. Note the wooden detailing throughout and the thick corbels that anchor the roof overhang. The leaded glass entry door is a thing of beauty. It is a nice feature to have greet you when you return home. The wainscoting and window trim are unique. Note the sliding French doors to the kitchen. Gas fireplaces in co-ops are quite unusual and in the wintertime, you will appreciate the warmth it provides.
